I went for the full Musala traverse with Victor as a mountaineer with a little experience looking to try a brand new discipline of ski touring.
It felt like the perfect balance of a day out climbing with your friend with enough supervision and safety whenever required to make the experience completely safe. A brilliant day on the mountain, very memorable. Left with loads of great photos and memories. I rarely use a guide, but this time was exceptional. Victor even gave me a lift from my accommodation just to help me out, which was above and beyond.
I had a great time with Viktor this summer in the Alps. We did few different routes of Trad mixed climbing and I learnt a lot from him but also I felt very safe!

When it comes to your turn, he is so encouraging that to you have no choice but to bring out the best of you. YES, I do recommend the individual course of Winter mountaineering with Viktor Varoshkin! First of all is his smily face. It takes you immidatley through the road of the winter mountaineering and all knots, ice axes, crampons, ropes, belay methods, Abseil slings, Block and takle... If you are a complete beginner this course is ideal for you, because it will help you make your first steps. If you already have some experience in the mountains, it will be useful to refresh and organize your knowledge.
Winter mountaineering includes also activities like climbing and glacier hike. And at the end you feel like a part of the fairy tale of the snowy mountain and Viktor is the storyteller. The softness of his attitude and the easiness of his behavior make the process of learning productive and fast. I did thing that are far beyond my imagination I would be able to perform. Four days program strictly adapted and tailored according my wishes and condition. Among other things, you will learn how to walk with crampons on snow and ice, how to use an ice axe, techniques for using ropes, rappelling, navigation, rescuing techniques in a glacier and how to manage in case of avalanche risk. I am Extremely satisfied with the course.
Viktor was my guide during my Mont Blanc. I wasn't very well acclimated, but decided to take a shot at the peak. Viktor was there for me and his pure passion about mountain soon took over me and somehow he managed to get me to the top all safe and sound. 5/5 would recommend ☀️

Victor is the best guide we've ever met. We did 3 days of skitouring with him. Even though the forecast was not too good, he made perfect itineraries to get the most out of each day. He was perfectly reliable and fair. Victor started with an easier route to see what we can do, and then every day we tried something harder, up to real ski-alpinism on the last day. He was always there to help us when we had problems. We felt perfectly safe with him all the time. He also shared lots of his knowledge and tricks - we learned more than on a skitouring course. We've had some problems with explore-share though - most of the prices of skitouring in Bulgaria displayed on their website turned out not to be up to date. But we have to admit, that the explore-share team did all they could to help us solve the problems and to find us a guide - all in a very polite and friendly way.
I was not sure what to expect and if I had chosen the right company to attempt the Mont Blanc climb..but I was so satisfied!! Both guides were amazing, in their knowledge but also in their attention to details and particularly to safety and their passion for the mountain sports .I would have followed them to read more ...
I was not sure what to expect and if I had chosen the right company to attempt the Mont Blanc climb..but I was so satisfied!! Both guides were amazing, in their knowledge but also in their attention to details and particularly to safety and their passion for the mountain sports .I would have followed them to much more difficult climb as i felt so well looked after.they were friendly, funny and caring and compassionate...Great people. I had no real idea as to what the program entailed but i was surprised to see myself doing things i would have never dreamed of or attempted tsuch as the cosmic ridge and ice climbing on the Mer de glace.They also never lost the focus that we wanted to make it to the top of the Mont Blanc and directed their energy towards a successful climb. Thank you Viktor and Bogdan.
Vertical Viktor is the one who will gently pull out the best mountaineer out of you. Huge heart, top of the world alpine class, very impressive portfolio but most of all, a wonderful person.

It was a trip above our expectations. Although we have to cancel one day trip as the weather was completely terrible in the forecast somehow we managed to squeeze 1 backcountry touring day during the trip and spend 2 days off the piste - snowboarding among the trees;) We have to say it's like magic. It was a trip above our expectations. Although we have to cancel one day trip as the weather was completely terrible in the forecast somehow we managed to squeeze 1 backcountry touring day during the trip and spend 2 days off the piste - snowboarding among the trees;) We have to say it's like magic. It was our first backcountry touring trip. With the help and guidance from Victor, we managed to rent the split boards and climb almost all the way to the peak (4 hours!), and ride down on the power. The view and experience are both spectacular! We are looking forward to coming back next year when the weather and snow conditions are better and hopefully, we will be able to reach different Pirin mountain peaks. Thank you, Victor ☺
